- Never leave your cup of coffee unattended with a dog present (especially when it’s a 7lb puppy). Caffeine does not fare well with them. The energizer bunny will lose the race.
- You WILL run into an ex boyfriend, eventually. Just hope that it’s not while you’re at the supermarket. Also hope you’re not wearing a baseball hat with your grey roots STILL showing despite the hat. Or in your “I got my period today and feel like a complete mess” clothing.
- Make sure to hit “save” now and then if you are working on a project on your laptop. Especially when there is a thunder/hail/lightening storm going on. Three hours of work is a lot to lose.
- If a bowl of cereal looks like it is a little too full. Go with your gut….it IS too full. And if you think it will end up falling before your child makes it downstairs. It WILL end up falling before your child makes it downstairs. Your dog however, will enjoy the frosted flakes with his morning cup of coffee.
and finally:
5. Fake a stomach ache now and then. It will get you a good hour or two to nap and escape the madness.
And that’s just from Sunday. Happy Monday!

This post was chalk full of useful tips. I loved it.
Oh, and your dog lives a very, very good life. I’ll have to remember that tip about the caffeine, though.

You absolutely do have a lucky dog. I have an 11 month old who mimics a dog and eats everything off the floor. Love it!

Murphey’s Law and I are mortal enemies… my arch nemesis. Murphey’s Law follows me around like a sulfuric black cloud, always catching me when I least expect it.
I hate Murphey’s Law and how late it constantly makes me… always when I’m rushed and in a hurry.
Die, Murphey’s Law! Die!

I ran into my ex boyfriend in Walgreens and I was looking exactly as you’ve suggested. Fortunately, he looked much the same.
