Two Days Into Peace

I have decided that there is something officially wrong with me.  I am two days into my time alone (with 3 1/2 days left  to go) and I am busier than when everyone is home. How is this possible?

Negative: I have yet to chill out on the sofa for more than an hour. I have not slept in late yet.  Besides my 7 hours of sleep, I have not been in my house for more than 3 consecutive hours. I have been making my bed, because my dad keeps coming by.  And I haven’t even broken out my favorite cookies!!

Positive: I did manage to get my girls night out with a great dinner.  I also have managed to walk around and not care if my robe is open (once).  But that’s IT off my list.

Negative: The texts and phone calls about where I am and what I’m up to….have been relentless.

Positiive:  The peace and quiet of an empty house is a nice break, even if I haven’t gotten to enjoy much yet.

    Sometimes they let us rest but it’s a total luxury. And that’s fine…..
