Free iPhone App of the Week: Coupon Sherpa

27 February 2010 8 Comments

couponsherpaCoupon Sherpa:

One of the better coupon iPhone Apps in iTunes. Large selection of national retailers and they had me at Banana Republic. Click a retailer and it shows you the offers available as well as the expiration date. It shows you the nearest location and then lets you view the actual coupon to present at checkout.

You can also elect to email yourself the coupon. Thoughtful. I’ve tried using the coupon directly from my iPhone at Ann Taylor and was told they needed the actual paper coupon. So while the app is pretty good, some of the retailers…suck.

At free, it’s a shopaholic must have!

LOL. Try Coca Cola’s free “spin the bottle” app. My husband wanted to hide under a rock when I pulled that out duing a 4th of July Party.

I just got a couple new free apps for my phone-one is a bar code reader for price comparisons, and the other is called “my coupons” that sounds a lot like what your described. Your supposed to be able to scan the phone too, but haven’t tried it yet. (The bar code reader is great though! You might want to check if they have this for iphone-it’s a fee app that lets you scan a bar code on an item and it will give local prices in other stores for it and show the cost onlin. Way too cool…)
