Brangelina: I’m Sliding into the Abyss
I keep hearing about this whole Brangelina split up. Part of me is surprised. Part of me isn’t. Hollywood marriages don’t seem to fare very well, so I guess it was really a matter of when than if, really. I don’t even know why it should matter to me in the first place.
I just heard someone on Entertainment Tonight say that Brad is exhausted. Jolie has “worn him out”.
And then I just think that <some> men are pretty dumb. <insert chuckle>
C’mon, couldn’t he tell from day one that she would wear him out and suck the life out of him? <Wait, won’t I look like an idiot if all this split hype isn’t true, and the marriage lasts till death-do-they-part?> Did he sleep through her relationship with Billy Bob Thornton? I’m exhausted just watching her cart 25 kids around. Everything about her seems so intense.
I heard on another highly intelligent entertainment show that Angelina Jolie uses men to grow her career. Billy Bob and their wierdnesses together threw her into the press and helped start her climb. Being attached to Brad not only elevated her to super star, but she has come to even surpass him in stardom. The show’s prediction is that the next doormat in her future would be a politician which would help elevate her into an entirely different realm.
Am I the only one who hopes Brad tries to worm his way back to Jen?
So to sum it all up, the reason I haven’t written an entry in this blog for about 3 weeks is because I’ve become a numb, mindless, suburban, carpooling, mid-life mom who spends most of her free time standing on line at A&P reading dish rag gossip tabloids or parked in front of the TV, eating bon bons while watching the E channel.
Save me.
I’ve been hearing the rumors too and I’m not sure if it’s true or not. Some people were saying they wouldn’t be surprised if they’re still together but acting like they’re separating so they can get more publicity. As if they need more??

However, they way have a pack like my husband and I have. The first one who says the word “divorce” has custody of the kids. Neither one of us wants to do this by ourselves. And we only have three and one is actually helpful because he babysits, drives and earns some money other than from us.

I’m actually hoping that it’s not true, just because I like them both. But again, like you said, I don’t know why it really matters. It doesn’t make my life any better or worse..

I thought Brad and Jen seemed like 2 sweet people together. AJ is skanky and un-warm and, well, they just never had my blessing. Probably the reason it didn’t work. See, I have that much power. Will you please rerun your post about having nothing to say. Was that you or Jenny Penny. I think it was called: I have absolutely nothing to say and it was so fucking funny and that is when I think I first fell for you…or maybe it was Jenny Penny and you were a different time. Either way, I fell and am still falling. Good luck with the boredom and tedium. It can be almost disabling. In my case, more than ALMOST. Glad you are back.

The worst thing though, is that while those kids are of famous parents…they are still kids. It sucks that they have to go through all that.

Branjolina–it is just hard for me to take any relationship seriously when it has it’s own nickname. I’m probably not too surprised that they are possibly breaking up. Especially since their relationship started out of his cheating on Jennifer Aniston. Never a good foundation.

I heard about this but thought I must have been mistaken-I mean, I lost count when it comes to how many children they have, together and otherwise, but that many children has to mean stability. Or not…
