Another Episode: Thoughts & Vents

These are thoughts that I collect because they really don’t warrant an entire post on their own:

  1. If you say you’re dropping your child off at my home at 2:30/2:45, kindly call me at the point you realize you won’t be here until 3:30. I have a life too ya know and my sole purpose of existance is NOT to wait for your arrival.
  2. Jon Gosselin just becomes more and more of an ass as each day passes.  If you haven’t seen the Inside Edition interview he did, watch it. And try not to throw rocks at your screen.
  3. I feel badly about the fight I had with my dad a few weeks ago.  We didn’t talk for two weeks. However he showed up at my son’s football game the other night and I’m so glad things are back to normal again.
  4. Does anyone really fall for the emails from “Don Juan”, “Craig Parker” or “Mohammed Obinu” stating you are the possible next of kin and have $900,000 coming your way? I’ll admit, I almost fell for the one from the “IRS” saying I hadn’t claimed my tax refund. But then I realized the “IRS” probably wouldn’t be sending me mail from irs@thehotmail.com
  5. PMS beat the life out of me this month. This is what I get for not sticking to my no caffeine/chocolate rule. I apologize to those in my life who were run over by my hormonal mouth the past few days. A special shout out to the  A&P cashier who’s head I bit off when he didn’t help me pack my groceries.

    Oh, I am so with you on number 1. Some parents are clueless and downright rude. Maybe we should charge penalty fees by the minute, like day cares do.

    I felt like leaving the house and not being here for when she finally decided to drop her child off. She had asked me to babysit. Seriously…..PICK UP THE PHONE!

    Yes, I do think people fall for those emails. All the time.

    Sorry about the fight with your dad. I’m glad you made up though. I didn’t talk to my brother for 4 years over an issue we had.

    Glad you and your dad are cool again. :-) Sometimes starting over after the fight is the hardest part, but family will always be family… :-)

    People can be so self-centered. I let them know very quickly that I don’t like to be kept waiting; I find it rude and borderline contemptuous when they think I have nothing better to do than wait around…. on THEM.

    Nancy Grace is relentless. Like a Pit Bull, really. I happen to think she’s obnoxious. I don’t know why anyone would let themselves be interviewed by her in the first place. Stupid is as stupid does?

    I like your rants and thoughts. I have so many of the same. I too am sorry you fought with your dad. That is always tough!

    And yes, I do think that people fall for those emails. All the time. So sad!

    That’s a good one too! Forgot about that. I will say this though, it gets better as they get older because the parties have less kids usually. The ones who don’t perticipate in proper RSVP protocol get weeded out after awhile.

    I totally hate the being late thing and not calling… huge pet peeve as well.
    And as for the video, we’ll I try to boycott anything to do with those two anymore. I was a fan in the beginning, but now, it’s just sad and disturbing.

    Don’t get me started about Jon Gosselin. I know people who watched the show all the time, but I predicted the divorce a while ago just from watching how the two related to each other. I personally couldn’t stand it but I didn’t blame her…

    I never watched the show until I started hearing about these two role model parents in the news. The news is more entertaining than the show is and I think they are in the last two minutes of their 15 minutes of fame. Just my opinion.
