A Long Overdue Award…to YOU.

Iloveyourblog_thumb_thumb_award[2]When I began blogging, I had no idea how much I would enjoy it or just how many Mommy Words I had stored up inside of me.  I discovered too, that there was a sea of Unknown Mamis just like me, with some really wonderful blogs to read. Talented, insightful, caring and intelligent moms. Moms who’s  Hearts Make Families come alive. Moms who know the perfect Family Formula for happiness and a Fabulously Good Life.

My husband loves this new hobby of mine, because I have gone from Mrs BlabALot to Mrs. BlogALot. I am no longer A Nut in a Nutshell or That One Mom who follows him around the house chewing his ear off.

I have become the Nocturnal Queen of Brilliant Sulks. So what if I am Domestically Challenged? Or that I look forward to my nightly routine of wearing Pajamas and Coffee sipping? There is no longer an Absence of Alternatives in keeping sane. Blogging has turned me into a Zen Mom and I am thankful for it.

Except of course for my monthly bouts of Headaches, Hotflashes and Hormones, otherwise known as PMS, when even blogging won’t cut it.  In times like that I will retreat into LaLa Land to escape the craziness. On those nights you can find bad, mad me, locked up  in the Bathroom, soaking in a hot bath, and contemplating When it was that I Became My Mom.  The men in this house can Call Me Jane, Meech or Joe, Nathan, Honey or LouLou, but nothing will get me out of that bath until I am no longer feeling like a Scary Mommy.

So I thank all of the wonderful bloggers out there for writing and for reading my writing.  I pass to all of you the award at the start of this post.

Life is a Stir-fry Awesomeness of ups and downs, adventures and Think Spins and I am glad to have met all of you.

About an hour after I posted this, I realized that it’s not really right to ask someone to do something  in exchange for an award.  Actors don’t pay for their Oscars, do they? So you don’t HAVE to pass it on. But if you DO,  have fun with it!
