Give a 9 year old a 20 and you get this:

The thing is bigger than a La-Z-Boy. Seriously.

It’s inflatable and plastic. Think       f-u-g-l-y.  (Definition included for those who’ve just arrived on planet Earth.)

But……..I’d never say a word to him about it. I’d never make fun of it. I want him to feel positive, secure and proud of his choices.

slungThe way he sits in it, upright and X-boxing, or feet slung over the side, I can see he LOVES his choice.

And that makes the $20 I gave him to buy himself a treat with……….priceless. I love this chair!

    It’s not much smaller than those water slides :) Awful, awful, AWFUL. What is it with men and ugly chairs?

    love it — could be worse i guess! and i’ll appreciate the fact that when i give my girls $1 to buy something, like i just did this morning, that it’s a bag of “healthy” cheetos instead of an inflatable chair –because, mind you, with them being twins, i’d have to have TWO of these dandy chairs — so let the cheetos continue at least for a few more years!
